Not had any experience at all with Vi Trains stuff but I'll ask at the club next Monday to see if anyone can either come on the forum and answer your query or give me an answer to pass on.

Sorry about the delay in replying but a lot of water has been passing under the bridge at the end of last month and its been a bit hectic.

To provide a little and somewhat sketchy further insight into vitrains...

In my opinion they rank behind Bachmann, Hornby and Heljan.

Although reasonably sound models they require quite a good modelling aptitude to complete the fitting of the detail.

There has also been comments on some of the accuracy in the colour schemes.

But I have not owned a ViTrains loco. so can only go off the comments of others.

Thank you for your advice. I will stick to, Hornby, for the moment. :)
